Capitalism is at a tipping point,
are you on the right side?

Are you ready
for a reset?

Business as usual is over. We need to speed up the creation of resilient future-proof business; successful companies serving the world in a meaningful way. We are raising the awareness of company leaders that they have a unique opportunity to transform their companies into instruments for great change, while increasing profits. We motivate them to act and support them in all stages of this journey.

Can a reimagined capitalism build an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable world? Can the private sector drive this transformation? We believe the answer is a resounding yes. Our purpose is to amplify the private sector’s role to create value for current and future generations, in a holistic and collaborative way. Because it is a win-win for all.

Nina is the founder of the corporate sustainability advisory firm Strategy International. She works with companies to improve their commitment to sustainability and the SDGs, and with investors to better understand ESG risks. A lawyer by training, Nina has been teaching Corporate Sustainability, Business & Human Rights as an adjunct professor since 2008 (last five years at Johns Hopkins SAIS in Washington D.C). She is a member of the secretariat of ASviS. She believes that companies paying more attention to environmental and social issues (ie. human rights) by setting up proper due diligence processes will be much better positioned in the sustainable capitalist future. They will be more purpose driven and respected, thus attract and retain a more talented workforce and be rewarded by attracting more sustainable investments.

Global Goals Kids’ Show Italy

Onboarding the next generation of leaders

Why

A we head into the final decade of the Agenda 2030, we still see a lack of information and material for children about the Sustainable Global Goals (SDGs) and the growing urgency for sustainability. The shared purpose driving this initiative is to convey the SDGs message in an engaging and easy to understand format in order to onboard the next generation of leaders and decision-makers in Italy. It will both empower and inspire them to use their voices and actions.

What

Our goal was to bring the online Kids Show to Italy. The show was created in 2019 by the Swedish strategic communication group, The New Division, to teach children about the 17 Global Goals. There was a need to adopt the content and identify the accurate partner for the right impact. The show will be available to over 5 million children between 5-10 years of age living in Italy, and the series will also serve teachers/trainers. The new show “Global Goals Kids Show Italy” will be presented during the Sustainable Development Festival organized by ASviS on the 22nd of September to the 8th of October 2020 and will be aired on Rai Yoyo starting early October.

Who

The partners are united by their shared purpose, their belief in a collaborative approach, and their technical expertise and experience. Together with Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile (ASviS) we adopted the content. Through their collaboration with the Ministry of Education and RAI they became the key partner for the promotion and distribution in Italy. Wildside, an Italian company belonging to Fremantle (one of the largest creators, producers and distributors of television brands in the world) was selected for the production. The popular and well-known Caroline Benvenga was selected as the presenter of the show to attract and engage children.

The future “live”

Listen to young and wise voices

E104 - Zakaria Bekkali (Website)

Why

We wish to give a voice to our future leaders and support them in expressing their dreams, experiences and what they would never give up. It is a great source of inspiration for today’s leaders to listen profoundly to these young and wise voices so that they can better understand each other and to find new ways to co-create a more friendly and beautiful world – with sound economic, social and environmental systems.

What

We all know that the power that businesses can have, in changing the world and leading the progress, is huge. Most of us also realise that we need to stop thinking that our personal life and our professional life are separate. We can’t be different people outside the home to who we are inside. Business isn’t isolated from the rest of the world anymore. It’s a part of the fabric of our society and as such it must play a part in the change we want to create. Young leaders know that.

Who

It’s about amplifying the voices of the young generation who often believes a longterm vision for CEOs and founders of startups and new enterprises should be to question to what extent they can help society besides the profit they’re making. This contribution could come in a number of forms, from creating jobs and products and services that are beneficial, as well as realise how their processes, their practices, their governance can have socially impactful effects on society at large.

Our partners

The purpose of the collaboration between A future and ASviS is to respond to the lack of tailored information and educational material that mirrors the Global Goals and the growing urgency for sustainability.  The material is made for the next generation as well as for the leaders and decision-makers in Italy.

The purpose of the collaboration between A future and Corporate Unplugged is to give a voice to our future leaders and support them in expressing their dreams, experiences and what they would never give up. We also want to inspire today’s leaders to listen profoundly to these young and wise voices to better understand each other and find new ways to co-create and collaborate to build an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable world.

The purpose of the collaboration between A future and Ecomate is to unlock the prominent role for SMEs to create value for current and future generations in a holistic and collaborative way.

“This dynamic team is on to something big. A future’s expertise offers what many companies of all sizes (particularly SMEs) in Italy need today: awareness of how sustainability issues are critical to their future business success and provides tailor-made support to accompany them in their journey.”
